From an early age, Marissa possessed a passion for both fashion and adventure which are at the foundation of Bliss Bridal. A registered nurse by trade, holding two degrees both in nursing and health science, Marissa continues to use her innate enthusiasm for helping others. After her first experience as a nurse, she lived in Turkey for 10 years, granting her rare opportunities to travel throughout Europe, and exposing her to Istanbul's luxurious fashion scene, in addition to other high-fashion cities, including Milan, Paris, London, Copenhagen, and Barcelona among many others. It was this exposure to different cultures and fashion that catalyzed her desire to build a business of her own, in which she helps brides create the most fulfilling, confident, and comfortable versions of themselves. At Bliss Bridal, Marissa marries this experience with her nursing background, which taught her to listen to others' needs, to have patience with them, and to ensure empathy is at the core of every interaction.
